Seven Clans Casino, Thief River Falls

For some reason, a lot of the locals trash on this place- even though I see them here most weekends lol. I’ve been coming here for a few years now, and always have a good time. Yes I may not win a lot of money most of the time, but let’s be honest… it’s a small town, rural casino for crying out loud . They actually have a really good selection of games; both old and new which I really like. I do find you have better odds and payouts on the older machines. Yes it’s not the best service in the world (even though, I can say I’ve had pretty solid service in the bar/food areas) but again… this isn’t a Vegas casino guys, lol. They have really good drink specials and their food is good quality for the price point. Two people can eat for under $30 with a tip- pretty much unheard of in this economy. Only thing I can really think of that could use improvement- maybe some comps would be really nice lol. I really wish you’d offer at least some kind of food and drink comps. I spend hundreds here (don’t judge lol) and I never even get a free meal or even a drink. That’s a little cheap in my opinion. But other than that, 7 clans is a good casino, especially for the area. I really would like to check out their water park sometime. Haven’t been there yet.

Had the weekend off from work, packed up the kids and went to Thief river falls to swim, great service up the front to pay, and the kids had a blast at the park.

Fun casino that doesn't swallow you up and make you feel lost. Tons of older machines for a nice steady bank roll build and some of the newest big ones to keep your eyes entertained. Amazing drink deals, food looked good, and the player club was easy to sign up for.

First time that I have ever been to this casino, she is small but Wow! I really, really liked the different types of older machines they still have there, which I always look for when I go to casino. And also great newer types also, like they had more of a selection of Dragon Link and other "Link"type games. I want to return because I had a great time at Seven Clans Casino, even though it was a short visit.

I love it there! From the Arcade to the restaurant to the water park to the climbing wall to the rooms I love it so much

Family trip for the night, we had fun but nothing to write home about. Very large neat property. For the room…loved the fire place, high ceilings, the blackout blind and the size of the room. The downside to the room…mattresses were pretty hard and more full size than queen, pillows were flat, our screen door was drafty, room had definitely wear n tear and our couch was dirty. The arcade had a couple of out of order games but they didn’t bother to put an out of order signs on them or turn them off vs letting the machines take your money. This was reported and nothing was done. The redemption is self serve so the line can take awhile. The main cafe has very limited hours. We did go to 777 a few times, the food was good. Only downside is you have to double check your orders and they don’t open in the morning for breakfast until 8:30a. The water park is large with lots to do for many ages. They are doing some updating so the pool area was drafty. Wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s our colder season. This made for a cool pool area and a very cold pool. Most people hung out in the hot tub. Burrrr!! Note the waterpark is additional $ The casino portion was very clean with a large selection of games to play! Friendly staff! Overall, I’d encourage to give it a try but I’d wait until their update is finished if you are attending the waterpark. Staff were nice. Neat to have a patio.

Rooms were clean. Check in takes a while. There weren’t enough inner tubes available in the water park this time around maybe next time. The rooms were definitely nice spent the evening with friends and could hardly hear the laughter if door was completely closed. Were able to stay and chat later into the evening no problem with noise so that’s definitely better then some places

We come every year and stay the weekend. We love the Waterpark, arcade experience for the kids and casino for the adults. Now with Native Care of the Red Lake Nation it is a must for adults who like to relax in clouds of smoke.
